Joe Andrade, Dr.Ac.Sc., DAc, M.D.A.M, R.G.O.P.
Joe has his Doctorate in Acupuncture Science from the International University of Complimentary Medicine in Europe and practises Acupuncture.
Joe is registered with the Canadian Council of Certified Acupuncturists, as well as the Canadian Examining Board for Health Care Practitioners. He graduated from the College of International Holistic Studies in Milton, with a Diploma in Acupuncture.
He specializes in pain management for Back, Knees, Arthritis, Frozen Shoulder, Headaches, Sore and Stiff Joints, Golfer's and Tennis Elbow, Carpal Tunnel and many other conditions are relieved by this therapy.
Joe also offers Cosmetic Acupuncture for reversing and reducing the signs of aging. This is an effective treatment for wrinkles and fine lines, droopy eyelids, double chins, age spots, and for improving overall skin tone and texture.
Auricular Acupuncture is offered for those persons hoping to lose weight, curb addictions, and detoxify their bodies, as well as for overall stress relief and improved health.
Joe has also finished his diploma in Gemmotherapy and Oligotherapy (Registered Gemmotherapy and Oligotherapy Practitioner R.G.O.P.). This form of natural medicine uses plant stem cells and young materials for their potency and unique composition in treating common ailments. Not only are side effects of disease both prevented and treated, but the very cause underlying the sickness -the disease itself is targeted and treated.
Most recently, Joe finished his Doctorate in Alternative Medicines with the Indian Board of Alternative Medicines. His areas of focus included Medicinal herbalism, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Aromatherapy, and more in depth studies of both Acupuncture and the Philosophy of Alternative Medicines. He's now offering custom herbal and gemmotherapy brands, as well as other natural health alternative and remedies.
